Pixel resurfacing improves skin texture and tone, smoothes
wrinkles, diminishes brown spots and lessens acne or surgical
scars. In short, this procedure erases those factors that add
years to our appearance, restoring youthful vitality.
Best of all, Pixel skin resurfacing does all this with no
pain and no downtime.
How does it work?
The procedure treats small zones of the skin, leaving surrounding
tissue untouched and intact. These large unaffected areas act
as a reservoir for more effective and rapid tissue healing.
The heating stimulates the healing response and the production
of collagen which causes a tightening of the skin, thereby
improving wrinkles and fine lines.
How long does it take?
Each session is usually between 30 – 60 minutes.
How many treatments will I need?
On average between 2 and 5 sessions at monthly intervals will
be required, depending on the condition being treated.

What should I expect during and after
treatment?
During treatment the main sensation is of heat.
A cooling device will be used simultaneously with the laser
to make the treatment more comfortable. Immediately after treatment
your skin will be red and feel warm like sun-burn, but this
will usually subside within 24 hours. The following day, when
the redness and possible swelling have gone down you will notice
a grid pattern on your face. Tiny scabs will form but these
will be shed naturally. Within a week your skin will be back
to normal.
When will I see results?
Areas of pigmentation may fade after one treatment.
Scarring, deep open pores and wrinkles will take longer to
improve.
